Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel, born on December 2 1968 was an American actress. She is most famous for her roles on the daytime network, as well as episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. Sofer was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role as Lois Cerullo on the soap drama General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful between 2013 and 2022.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), an Orthodox Rabbi, and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).





 She moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a youngster. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. Sofer was a graduate of North Bergen High School and later went to Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer was a part of on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as managing a band. But her first acclaim role was as Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap series Loving (1988-91).
